The beauty of oats

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

I was requested (read forced by the boyfriend…) to make more of those oat crackers I am trying to learn how to master. Spent the entire morning in the kitchen, like a menace, flying all over the place. Once the crackers where out of the oven I tried to take appetizing and compelling photographs of the creations. I’ll save the recipe for another day since I am still in theĀ  “a pinch of this” and a “splash of that” stage ^^ .

If it got Hello Kitty on it…it will sell!

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Right, so there is an existing Hello Kitty hospital/ward where women can give birth in the midst of the madness of Hello Kitty. Now, there is even a Hello Kitty Wine selection. I guess it may taste as good as it looks?!

I think I can happily live without this one, however one should never say never ;)

PS. Have a look at their website, in the gallery from their release party there is a photo of Dave Navarro happily cuddling a Hello Kitty wine bottle in his heavly tattoed hands. How is that for contrast! :)

My Gil Evergreen Wall

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

I have a soft spot for pin-ups girls and especially paintings of such gorgeous girls by Gil Evergreen. I raffled through my picture collection the other day and brought out some of my favorites to put up on the wall in my dressing area. Matches my hat boxes and scarfs like a charm!

Hurray!

The last old posts are posted from the previous blog. My OCD’s are singing due to now having sorted categories, a media library and other tools to play with. I must say that one.com’s blog tool is incredibly questionable, since it’s incredibly clunky and quite the opposite of dynamic.

I found two gems to share in my exploration of WordPress: Analytics 360 which allows you to pull both website data from Google Analytics and statistics from your MailChimp account straight into your WP dashboard.

Plus a WordPress e-Commerce plug-in which enables you to build an online shop, all for free.

Fancy that!
