Gratefullness 2011

January: On of my dearest friends finally visited London from Sweden, I got a long weekend showing her around my new world.

February: I had a great month managing to combine a busy schedule with workouts,  optimum nutrition. Spending quality time with friends in London, whilst packing!

March: I relocated from London, to Gothenburg, Sweden. Went to my first Google Engage Conference in Stockholm, tres inspiring.

April: My month of celebration, relationship, my birthday. Surrounded by dear friends and family.

May: Went to GT galan, hosted by one of Swedens biggest “news” papers

June: One of my best friends stayed with us for a long weekend, that was so much fun. I spent my first midsummer with my family in 10 years or so!

July: I had a blast at Liseberg, Gothenburg. Turns out that amusement parks are more awesome when you “grow up”- drinking Mojitos and hitting the rides for 12 hours. Sweeet! Then i went on a plane and traveled to Austria and Slovakia. Double awesome :)

August: Spent time by the beach, at the cliffs, getting the tan of my life and new strength, and inspiration in Sweden.

September: I held my first breakfast seminar on the topic of social media marketing for businesses at Espresso House in Gothenburg.

October: I spent two weeks in San Fransisco and had a blast with one of my bestest friends. Returned with a Californian tan and loads of inspiration.

November: This was, by far the most difficult month of the year. But behind all the crap and the tears there was a lesson to be learned.

December: Filled with lights, cozyness and building up to my first Swedish Christmas in ages. I spent some well needed time in my family home and can now look back on November and the rest of my life, with fresh eyes and gratefulness.

2011, you where awesome, in fact, one of the most awesome years ever. I learned, laughed and loved a lot. However I intend to have even better years. Starting with 2012 :)

I am the most grateful for meeting and getting to know so many new fabulous people around the world. I also started a personal twitter account and instantly met so many other vegans and other interesting people from all kinds of places. That is so very awesome :)

Happy 2011 and a prosperous 2012

How to make your own gift bows

giftbow

This weekend I’ve made up for lost time. Something that I learned as soon as I got my head around it,was to make my own gift bows. You can make it with any paper/material, as long as you can staple and use a glue gun, you should be good to go.

This is how you make your gift bows:

1. Start with cutting strips of paper

2. Cut a few in different lengths as shown on the picture below. I kind of prepare a few different lenghts and go bananas and just create, I don’t pay so much attention to how many of what you should use.

3. Staple your paper strips together after you bent them as upward facing 8′s. (It took some time before my brain gave in to the task!)

4. Get you glue gun and start gluing them together. I glue a few together inside each other  first before I stick them all together as a flower.

5. Lastly you want the shortest strip to be round and glue that on the top of your creation.

6. Done!
